Santee CA – The 12-race Southern California Flat Track Association championship series came down to the final race of the year on November 6, 2016 with only one point separating S&S Off Road Magazine’s #16 Steve Kukla and #37 Ron Moore. The winner of Round 12 would be the 2016 60+ Expert champion.
Both racers were equally determined to walk away with the win and that was evident as they raced the entire eight laps often side by side, exchanging the lead multiple times. With a lap and a half to go Kukla pulled ahead and put some distance between the two. He held the lead to the checkered for the championship.
This came only one week after also securing the 2016 60+ Expert championship at the CALVMX Flat Track Series held at Camp Lockett in Campo CA.
“The Duncan Racing engine stayed consistent and strong all season,” Steve said. “A big thank you also to Coyne Powersports in El Centro CA and Hinson Clutch Components for their support in the quest for a championship. The Hinson clutch was reliable through the 12 race SCFTA series at Perris Raceway and eight CALVMX races.”

About Duncan Racing, International: Duncan Racing was founded in 1977 in Santee, California by Danny R. Duncan. The company was originally founded under the name of Danny’s Machine Works. For the initial 8 years Danny’s Machine Works became very well known in the southwest United States as one of the premier hi-performance motorcycle and ATV speed shops. In mid 1986 the company changed it’s name. Loren Duncan, Danny’s oldest son, took over the reins and changed the name to Duncan Racing International. Many of the top ATV riders in the world have ridden Duncan Racing bikes or used Duncan products to win their countless races and championships. Without the excellent testing and R&D from these riders it would be difficult to achieve the high level of performance Duncan Racing has set for itself. www.duncanracing.com
